When operating with multiple control and metering applications, a high level of reliability and stability in data processing and acquisition is required. In such cases, ADE2000 Scada allows the installation of a secondary console connected to the PLCs or RTUs, designated as the Backup console.
If the primary Master console fails, the Backup console will automatically take control of the situation, and it will continue to send data and alarms to the slave consoles. When the Master console resumes operation, the Backup console returns to stand-by mode.
