ADE2000 Scada can communicate with PLCs and RTUs through up to 256 serial communication ports. Besides it allows several devices wich use different communication protocols to be connected to the same port, letting you to continue tu use the PLCs and RTUs you already have in the plant.
ADE2000 Scada gives you the possibility to use DDE Technology (Dynamic Data Exchange in a Client / Server architecture), which implies that it will be compatible with any PLC or RTU.
Given the proven track record of this kind of technology for automation applications, if one particular PLC or RTU is not directly supported by ADE2000 Scada,
you will still be able to have access to its data through DDE.
