ADE2000 Scada features a data validation system which is unique among other Scada softwares in the market.
Users benefit from this validation, assuring that received data is actualised and correct.
In control and metering systems it is usual that a large amount of data are stored and which, after some time, are not longer useful for the functioning of the application, and can therefore be deleted.
Usually, the administrator is responsible for deleting these old data. This tends to be a boring task and prone to mistakes and oversights. That is the reason why ADE2000 Scada permits to purge historical, alarm or event archives regularly at a set interval of time. It also allows to automatically copy old deleted registries to loading tape drives or other backup media.
